OSHA Compliance and Preventative Maintenance Inspections

Here are just some of the steps we take to keep your systems up and running through our preventative maintenance inspection programs.

Every inspection begins by talking with the crane operator and running the equipment through its motion capability.

Perform CMAA and OSHA load test to verify that standards are met.

All gear box oil levels are checked and filled.

Lubricate all grease fittings for continued top performance.

Hoist cables are visually inspected for core pops, wear and kinks. Cable diameters are checked and cables are lubricated.

Removal of guards and sweeps allows for complete examination of drive components.

Remove brake covers and disassemble for a complete visual inspection. All brakes are adjusted to meet OEM specifications.

A complete electrical inspection covering all aspects of single, two, multiple speed and inverter motor controls is performed. Reversing and speed contactors are disassembled if necessary, for moveable and stationary tip inspection.

Motors are meggared, voltage and amperages are checked to determine proper operation and condition.

Completed inspections are stored on computer, and sent to customers via email, floppy disc, CD-ROM, or hard-copy.

Level II NDT certified technicians check hooks for surface and subsurface cracks.
